No more sound in mediaportal (1 Viewer)

HDD: Fujitsu MHZ2320BH G2 320GB
Memory: DDR2-667 4GB
Motherboard:
Video Card: 9600M GT
Video Card Driver:
Sound Card: Realtek HD Audio
Sound Card AC3:
Sound Card Driver: Realtek Semiconductor Corp. version 6.0.1.5605


Sinds a couple of days i have no more sound in mediaportal
Herefor mediaportal always worked fine.
In Windows Vista i have no problems with sound.
Can someone please help me with this?

You need to tell more... it's most likely a codec issue. HOW you're configured is a function of your audio system... are you playing via stereo speakers, SPDIF, etc? What are you playing that has no audio? Does MyTV have audio?

Load mediaportal, start button keyboard so taskbar shows, go to the speaker icon in the system tray and right click, select mixer, see if mediaportal has been muted

Thanks! That was my problem. I didn't know you could manage volume like that in Vista.

I had the same problem,
I checked the mixer status, I saw MP volume bar and it was at half volume but I can't listen nothing.
Just when I moved the sliders, I started listening audio !.
I don't know why this happened; the other sliders was at the maximum.
However, not it works !
(Note: I use SPDIF audio output)
