Sometimes when I start up MP I don't have a mouse pointer. Although as I attempt to move the mouse pointer around the screen the various items light up as if there was a mouse pointer. Any ideas?

Yes, it happens to me too when I'm running MP in full-screen mode. I have to close and restart MP again to get my mouse pointer back. It doesn't seem to happen when you start MP in a window mode.

It happens to me whether I start in full screen mode or not. Its really getting annoying. I have also noted that when I move to the bottom of the screen and the pause/play button doesn't always show up.

It is a known bug in MP. There are other users who are having the same issue. The play/pause controls are at the top of the screen. Normally, when the mouse disappears, I use the keyboard to stop (B key) or pause (spacebar). A MCE remote will come in handy too.

This is where I have another small problem...... I use a Logitec Dinovo Mini keyboard which doesn't have "F" function keys and some short cuts don't work. But as I will be away in the UK for a month it will have to wait.
