[QUOTE="spar1grep, post: 632662, member: 68691"] Hello MP People, Decided to replace my current MP Clients (2 of them, using a MP Client/TV Server setup) as both clients could not play 720p video without audio sync issues, tried every fix I could find but after imaging a client and putting the image on a higher spec PC it was pretty conclusive that the two clients did not have the CPU/GFX power needed to play 720p. I tried to do this as ecomnomical as possible so built ASRock A330ION based clients, and used 8GB SSD drives I have left from the upgrade of two Dell Mini 10v's, based on my current client installs though Windows XP was going to take up between 8 and 9GB. Therefore I decided to look into using TinyXP as the fresh OS installation as this has a very small footprint, it also seems to have resolved the problem I was having with my current clients where ten minutes into having the HTPC client switched on MP would come to a grinding halt as the OS it's self attacked the hard disk, again I tried numerous fixes to resolve this but I could never conclusively identify the cause. Enough background information, the problem I am having is that whilst the Moving Pictures, MP-TV Series plugins work fine and the playing of 720p HD video over the network is problem free from within the new MP Clients. I cannot get MyTV to work. When the MyTV client starts all I see is the Blue3Wide background image and nothing else, checking on the TV Server it thinks the client is working fine. Checking out the MP process on the MP Client also shows that it is healthy (i.e. it has not frozen). These are the actions I took once the OS was installed to bring it in line with MP software recommendations: Installed MS .NET 3.5 SP1. Installed MS Direct X 9.0c. Installed WMP 11. Installed DivX Pro Codec 6.9.2. Also I ran MediaPortal in Debug mode to see if I could find any errors in the logs, the only error I can find is related to the MCE Remote not being found, as I do have MCE remotes but did not have it plugged into the MP Client whilst I built it, in any event I removed the option within the MP configuration that there was a MCE Remote just to confirm that it would not have any effect on the issue I am having. The logs are attached to this post (maybe I have missed something obvious to a more savvy MP forum member). Any help would be appreciated, I am fully aware that TinyXP is not a supported OS as it is cut down, but others out there on these forums have got it working, maybe some pointers as what the MyTV client requires to run would be all that I need? Offering advice on unsupported configurations is how it moves from being unsupported to supported, by resolving the problems.......
