Hello--

Whenever I play a video, I cannot access the onscreen display. I know one exists, because when I had installed Mediaportal (and the simpleMP skin) on XP home the OSD did appear.

Is there a plugin, skin, patch, etc that will remedy this situation?

PS --- I cheaped out and got a generic MCE remote. It functions perfectly in all respects except that the Pause/Play, Stop, FFwd, Rev, etc button does not function in MP. Those buttons function in other programs like Win Media Player and Win Media Center. Any Idea how to fix this? I've tried to figure out the keymapping feature, but to no avail.

Thanks!!

I feel stupid now. I seem to have fixed the problem.

I went into configuration. Under the General section, I checked "Show special mouse controls (scrollbars, etc.)"
