no reaction when inserting a SVCD ? (2 Viewers)

Yesterday I played svcd (3 disc movie Luther) mounted from my wireless network and when I pressed ESC to check the Tv Guide during the starting credits, the whole PC froze on me!
Next try I pressed skip 30s to get the movie started, then it froze again!
Finally I just let it play, I didn't even dare to press Pause, then I could see the entire movie.
Someone had similar expereiences?

lol yes, i tried a vcd today, and couldn't get it working at all. It had 7 parts to it, and only 2 parts worked.

However, WMP couldn't open it either.

PowerDVD on the other hand had no problems

it's a .dat file

Autoplay on vcd's has to be integrated, it's a must
