No Remote after suspend/hibernation (1 Viewer)

Hello there,

since more than 2 years I am using MP. Now, my wife is in vacation and this is the chance to upgrade from 0.2.3 to MP & TVService 1.0.0 RC1 without loosing the "womans acceptance factor"

Since 3 days I try to get it work. And it works expecting one big thing.
After the system comes up from suspend/hibernation, there is no support for my Hauppauge remote anymore.
Before suspend/hibernation all works fine, but if the system comes up, MP don´t uses the remote any longer.
If I restart MP then, it works fine again.
Is there any way to restart MP after suspend/hibernate?
I know, I can set a flag at the MP configuration, but MP does´nt really start after wakeup.

I won´t loose my "womans acceptance factor" in case of technical toys

You didn't change BIOS settings in between?

There is an option to restart Mediaportal after resume, you could try that.

Mediaportal Configuration -> General, there should be a checkbox for that among the long list of checkbox configurations

If it doesn't work for you, you can try MST tool for configuring your standby/resume, it can also restart MP for you when resuming.

Hi There,

no, I changed nothing in the BIOS. I only made fresh installation of XP SP2 with all appropriate Drivers, recommended Codecs and Software to install MP 1.0.0 RC1. The machine is in a good start condition to run MP. I know, what i write because I use former MP versions since more than 2 years.
I also struggled with some checkboxes at the MP configuration as well as the TVServer configuration.
But nothing happens.
Therfore I wrote a VBS script wich has an eye on the wakeup event and shuts down MP and starts it new if the PC comes out of state 18 (suspend). But all this feels like a gun shot in my back, through the brest directly into my eye. Makes not sense to finger and struggling to bring MP up and running in any case.

Therefore i made a rollback to 0.2.3 Final version wich runs perfectly. Exept the Power Scheduler. I use the PVR Scheduler instead and it will work for me.
So far so good. In my opinion and in case what I read about MP 1.0.0 here at the forum, I think, its not the right time to release MP 1.
If you need some testers in the future, please wrote me. I can do that for you because I am very interested in the reputation of MP. Althrough I love this program and there is no real concurrence at the market.
