There are still circumstances in which the automatic cleanup system does not properly remove the old entries. This mainly occurs on network shares, because there is no medialabel then. I had the same problem myself and no matter what I tried (even deleting the entire series from database and re-importing), the old share episodes would show up as offline aside the same episode from new import location.

But a new enhancement ticket is made for that situation, which you can 'star' to be aprised of its progress:

Issue 604 - mptvseries - Maintenance option on files and database - MP-TVSeries: plug-in for organizing TV shows in MediaPortal - Google Project Hosting

You can also run the SQL query manually if you have issues with those 'ghost' episodes right now.

Thanks for the reply, but both drives are on-line, being non-removable, and the only 2 HDD's in the list. I only moved the folders from one to the other. I can't think that I did anything else. All series that were original to each HDD, that were not moved, are fine. Only the Series that were moved have duplicate episodes.

I'm scratching my head. Looks like the only recourse will be to delete and rescan for those Series that were moved.

The same SQL query will then still work for your scenario and remove the 'bad' episodes.

If you need help with all the steps required to run such an SQL query, let me know.

Thanks for the offer, but, I guess I'm just not savvy enough to look into playing with the SQL thingamajig. I deleted the several Series from the db in config, then let the plugin rescan in MP. It only found the last few episodes of the last season in each, so I did a Forced Look-up for the Series Name, then all the seasons/episodes were populated properly.

Not pretty, but effective ... and I didn't have to learn anything new :D

Now I'll just leave stuff alone until I need to add more media drives.
