I noticed that when BASS is enabled then my avr shows that a pcm stream is detected even when MP is idle. i.e. no tv/music etc playing. This seems to prevent the ac3 or dts stream from being able to use the spdif channel. If BASS is not select in MyMusic then my avr shows pcm detected only when tv/music is playing, nothing detected when nothing is playing  and dolby or dts detected when playing a dvd. Sorry if all terms not used correctly, but I'm a beginner at this.</p></blockquote><p></p>
