I am just trying to set up mepo. I have been running dvbdream so I know my setup works except for the mepo portion. I have a genpix skywalker-2 for my dvb card. I have a 1000.2 antenna. Setup went fine until I scanned for channels. When ever I scan I get "no signal" for my responce. I assumed I would set it up as NA backstacked DP-Hi, however that did not work. Since I have tried various combinations all to no avail. I have attached a copy of the logs. please help.

    Hello and welcome bigshot

If you open up TV Server configuration, go to the scanning section for your tuner, and then tick "use advanced tuning options"... have you enabled the LNB override settings? If so, the settings that you use for "band" will be ignored.

Do you know what the LNB local oscillator frequencies should be? I can advise which band setting to use if you know this...

I have "use advanced tuning options" ticked
I have "override default lnb frequencies" ticked
    lof1 is 11250
    lof2 is 11250
    lnbsw is 0

I don't understand your use of the word "band" please explain.

I don't understand your use of the word "band" please explain.
In the scanning section you have four rows up the top.
They enable you two scan up to 4 satellites in one scan. Only a time saver - nothing more.

First column in each row is a tick box. Tick to scan the corresponding satellite; untick to not scan.
Second column is DiSEqC - if you don't have some kind of DiSEqC switch that enables you to receive multiple satellites with one tuner then this should be set to "none".
Third column is band - band is a European term that doesn't really make a lot of sense to us folks from other parts of the world. Think of it as a synonym for LNB type. Each "band" setting is associated with a set of frequencies (the LNB local oscillator frequencies, eg. 11250). These are important for tuning, and also determine whether a 22kHz tone is sent to the LNB or not.
Fourth column is satellite - hopefully self explanatory.

I have "use advanced tuning options" ticked
I have "override default lnb frequencies" ticked
    lof1 is 11250
    lof2 is 11250
    lnbsw is 0
If you have "override default LNB frequencies" enabled then the settings in the "band" column up the top are ignored.
In other words, you said that you had tried "NA backstacked DP-Hi", but actually if you had "override default lnb frequencies" ticked at the time then you haven't actually tried NA bandstacked DP-Hi.

I recommend you do *not* enable the "override default LNB frequencies" setting if at all possible. Most people should find it isn't necessary because the "band" setting covers what you need.

    The band setting frequencies are:
    "Ku-Linear (Universal)" = 9750, 10600, 11700
    "Ku-Circular" = 10750, 0, 0
    "C-Band" = 5150, 0, 0
    "NA Bandstacked DP Ku-Hi (DBS)" = 11250, 14350, 0
    "NA Bandstacked DP Ku-Lo (FSS)" = 10750, 13850, 0
    "NA Bandstacked Ku-Hi (DBS)" = 11250, 10675, 0
    "NA Bandstacked Ku-Lo (FSS)" = 10750, 10175, 0
    "NA Bandstacked C" = 5150, 5750, 0
    "NA Legacy" = 11250, 0, 0
    "NA Custom 1" = 11250, 11250, 12700
    "NA Custom 2" = 11250, 11250, 12200

"NA Custom 1" is equivalent to the frequencies that you entered.
    Does that help?

You are correct. When I just set to na backstacked dp-hi and did not check the override, I was able to scan channels. thank you
