The additional delay is about 400 ms for resending the command. Not "huge", but also not desirable. I can see from the logs that the "resend" version doesn't always work because TV Server thinks the switch is already switched to the correct input. I think the best solution may be to add code that would resend the command *only* on the first tune after wake from sleep, but unfortunately it is hard to do that. Did you ever have problems with the switch not changing during normal operation (I mean not straight after wake from sleep)?

Hi mm,

Last night i was also thinking that would be the best way to solve this problem, after tvserver wake up from sleep to resend the command but like you say only one time,Maybe an option on the server like the options delay or reinitialize cards on wake up.
No i never had problems to tune any channel on any diseqc after the first tune.Do you think that maybe is something not compatible with my hardware?Very stranger that no one mention the same problem.

Can you please when you have time to compile a new patch for me for the new version of MP, because with the old one after scanning finish, tvserver its stack crash.
Have you any idea why only me suffering from this problem?i mean i have see a lot of members they have this card but no one post similar problem.
Do you think the monoblock lnb is the problem?But if yes why also with the Technisat Multytenne i also have this problem?and the most stranger why also the hauppauge suffer from the same problem?Both lnbs ( monoblock & Technisat Multytenne) are with internal disecq maybe is this the problem or you think the problem is on the drivers of both cards?
I know a lot of questions i apologies but i must find a solutions (also you cannot provide patch for me a for ever) before i through out of the window all my cards lnbs and pc :-(

To be completely honest: I don't know. It could be all of the things you mentioned (tuner drivers, switch behaviour). Hauppauge DiSEqC can be tricky, but if it works during normal operation then I don't suspect that is a problem. It would be very time-consuming to figure out the characteristics of the drivers and switches - unfortunately I don't have that time...

Having said that: yes, I can provide an updated patch for you. I'll try this evening (8 hours from now).
