No sound from some vob/mpeg files (1 Viewer)

Hi guys.
I am having alot of trouble getting sound from .vob/mpeg files that have 5.1 digital audio streams.
this is with latest MP 0.2.3.0 (stable)
the wierd thing is that in 0.2.2.0 (stable) this works perfectly!
I have exactly the same codec (ffdshow for picture and ac3 filter for sound) on both setups but it just wont play any sound on the 0.2.3.0 build
some files play and some dont and also if I use external player with MP or even any other player in windows the sound plays perfect.
I have the exact same codec setup in every setup tab within MP config to.
tried to use different codec to but still no luck.
I believe I have tried all settings possible to.
once more.... this works perfect in old 0.2.2.0 version.

any ideas/solutions?

34 views and no reply? is there really no one with same problem? or have I missed something?
using 0.2.2.0 atm as I dont have any problem with it there... kinda dissapointing that I have to use older version of MP to be able to enjoy sound from all files

Hi. nope DTS on .mkv works fine here.

ok now I can confirm that the above works 100% in Vista MCE so its definatly a bug in MP

after 30 min of vista MCE I remebered why I do love MP!
if it only would do that little thing to it would rule pls someone fix this!

I wish I was clever enough to help you.
I can however make a suggestion that will maybe enable one of the experts to pick up the problem:
1. Install 0.2.3 final again
2. Install the latest SVN (to make sure the problem is not already fixed)
3. Start the MPTestTool2.exe in your MP installation directory
4. Do Step 1 in the test tool
5. Do Step 2 in the test tool
6. Play the applicable file in MP and confirm that there is no sound (volume up?)
7. Close MP
8. The testtool will automatically do Step 3
9. Attach the generated zip file here.
