No sound if I use ASIO player (1 Viewer)

If I select the ASIO player option in MP [BASS player] I get no playback whatsoever.

Tried installing the PureAudio plug in and I get the same thing.

I know I had this working several months ago so it's probably me just being dumb but I just can't seem to figure out where I am going wrong?

I am using an AMD HD6450 card with HDMI into my receiver. Using ASIO4ALL and latest version of SAF codec pack with all pass throughs checked for audio.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Asio is just a pain for HDMI setups! WASAPI exclusive mode support would make things a lot easier, but MP still doesn't support it (not in 1.3.0 alpha). I'm using xbmc which has supported it for ages!

I have in a roundabout way gotten WASAPI support going in MediaPortal v1.2.

how to setup media portal for hi-fi music?
