no sound in mediaportal (1 Viewer)

i configured my mediaportal and everything is working fine....if i had sound. everything is silent in mediaportal.
here is my setup:



i tried mplayerc and zoomplayer...everything works fine with these players and ffdshow! already tried all audio renderer. nothing worked. pls help

this problem is in tv, videos and dvd! (didn't tried music jet)

Are you on Vista, if so with MP running in windowed mode (alt-enter), check the speaker icon in systray, see if MP muted or volume turned right down.

yes im on vista. at the moment i have plugged in my sound directly to the soundcard. if everything is ready i want to plug it via hdmi to my av receiver.



i tried as you said...sound was on max in vista...in mp i have this gray scale...already tried the standard decoders. didn't work

After I muted mediaportal. i looked at the windows mixer. after unmute mediaportal it showed up in the mixe and then i could set the sound higher
