Problem:
When opening a DVB-T channel (all mpeg4 standard) no sound is present except for a millisecond. The sound format is LATM AAC audio.

I suspect the reason is because Denmark on the 11th of January transitioned to the mpeg4 standard using LATM AAC audio. At least from this day I haven't been able to hear the sound when opening the channel.
I am using the default MONOGRAM AAC decoder (I know of no other).

HOWEVER, when opening a recorded tv-program (transmitted with LATM AAC audio-stream) I can perfectly well hear the audio.
One other thing: The 10th during the evening I installed ffdshow. I don't know if this has anything to say.

After a complete uninstall and reinstall nothing has changed.

I've attached the logs.

Best regards,
Mikkel

Monogram does not work with LATM HE AAC.

Try the DivX codec which is free and should work (does here on the UK where our HD channels have just switched to AAC)

    jameson_uk,
have you tested LAV audio for LATM HE? does it work?

I have tested and it did not work. There is a change in the very latest LAV (0.44) which is
    Code:
Fixed LATM AAC playback with some source filters
but have not had chance to try this yet

Pretty important to find out if Lav works for this now as we recommend it, also would be good to clear system of one more unnecessary codec install.

I have switched back to LAV Filters for LATM AAC since 0.44 because of that bug fix. My DVB-S2 tuner has priority over my DVB-T2 one though so it's rare that I watch an HD channel with LATM AAC. I think this has only been the case once since version 0.44 came out and it worked fine.

More extensive testing is needed, I'm sure.

I haven't had any AAC sound problems on (UK) Freeview HD with LAV v0.44 (but it was a random problem before, so it might just be luck).
