No Sound MP 1:18 Final (1 Viewer)

Hi guys

I started MP today and for some reason I have no sound.

When I select a show it doesn't start and I have to select it again then it will start playing with no sound.

I tried reinstalling MP with no luck.

I have attached logs.

Can someone help me please.

Have you done the standard checks:

1. Mute off (m key to toggle).
2. Windows mixer volume level for MP.

If not, please check them.

...and Windows system event log shows the driver was updated on the 15th.

P.S. The error code (0x80040256) means VFW_E_NO_AUDIO_HARDWARE.

Hi mm

Thanks for your quick reply, I did a system restore back to before the 15th and it works now

I did some intel updates for the NUC on that date so I guess that might have been the issue.

It doesn't always pay to update for the sake of updating

Best to leave well enough alone
