I´m just setting up Mediaportal and find that I have no sound when playing DVD´s or DVD´s ripped to my hard drive. All other sound, such as system, music, TV work perfectly. I had a look in the FAQ and checked to make sure Windows Media Player is sending sound to the speakers and it is. So I loaded up Windows Media Player on it´s own and have the same problem - no sound on DVD´s. I´ve tried other media players (e.g. VLC) and they work perfectly.

So.......... any idea why I have no sound for DVD´s through Windows Media Player?

Thanks.

I just fitted a new graphics card today, and now it seems to be working. Weird!
