No I don't use Argus although I did try it at one point and then removed it when I solved my slow tuning issues. The ForTheRecord plugin is still installed but it isn't enabled. Yes I use an AV Receiver however I don't have it connected to the HTPC directly. I run HDMI to the TV and the use the S/PDIF out on the TV to pass the sound through. I do this with anything connected to the TV via HDMI because it solves any tv input lag issues causing sound and video to be out of sync. As an added bonus it means that I never have to switch inputs on my AV Receiver.
