No sound with ASIO driver and s/pdif output (1 Viewer)

Guessing the error means the interface is in use? Have you looked at any other applications that might use it? Also with other posters, install foobar2000 and try outputting to the same interface from there.

same result with foobar2000: no sound on s/pdif out

does ASIO work in any other player (eg. Foobar 2000 ?)

can be a problem of my integrated audio (mobo 880G) and Realteck driver?

I solved in this way:

1) connect my htpc to A/V reciver with both optical and coaxial cable
2) i set audio optical like default connection
3) set in MP and Asio4All control pannel coaxial output

in this way all system use a default optical connection, only MP music section (and ASIO) use coaxial connectio and ALL works fine.

But ........... why??
