    I have been using MP for about two years. Running MP 1.15.0 on Win 7 (32 bit), for broadcast TV only, using a Hauppage HVR 1600 tuner card. Had not opened MP for about 10 days, and when I did: no sound with TV (I do have TV sound with Win Media Center). Nothing has changed on the machine except monthly Microsoft updates and a minor update to Foobar 2000. I have tried the various audio options in MP Configuration, to no avail. I suspect the fix is simple, but I am stumped. Any help?
    Thanks much,
    N.

    OW--
    Thanks for your reply, and sorry about the delay, but: Attached is a log file. Oh, and: That should have been "10 days," above, not "110 days" (I have edited). The problem just appeared recently, after a couple years of problem-free MP use.
    Thanks,
    N.

    It looks like MP is unable to use the LAV codecs which you've configured it to use:
    [2016-09-25 09:57:24,471] [Log ] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - TVHome.ViewChannelAndCheck(): View channel=WNET-HD
    ...
    [2016-09-25 09:57:26,088] [Error ] [MPMain ] [ERROR] - Failed filter: LAV Video Decoder not found LAV Video Decoder
    ...
    [2016-09-25 09:57:26,117] [Error ] [MPMain ] [ERROR] - Failed filter: LAV Audio Decoder not found LAV Audio Decoder

    They're listed in the dxdiag log, but without version numbers:
    LAV Audio Decoder,0x00800003,1,1,LAVAudio.ax,
    LAV Video Decoder,0x00800003,1,1,LAVVideo.ax,

    ...which to me suggests that the files are either corrupted, not where they should be, or dependencies are missing.

    If I were you I'd try reinstalling the LAV codecs for a start. If that doesn't work, let us know.
