I connected my old vhs video player to the composite port of my tv card and i get video+sound in the TV Server configuration, but I only get video in MediaPortal (TV Client), no audio there. I really wonder what (and where between client and server) the problem could be. The analoge part of the tv card comest without an hardware-encorder, so it is a software-encoder-card. I installed the AMD AVIVO Software to get it working, this was mentioned here:</p><p><a href="http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/141_Configuration/TV-Server_Configuration/02_TV_Servers/5_Scan_Analog/Software_Encoding_Card_Setup" target="_blank">Software_Encoding_Card_Setup</a></p><p>I have tried the different codecs from the mediaportal settings witch installed on the computer, I did not get sound in the tv client with any of them.
