no TV channels shown in MP (1 Viewer)

I have a kworld pc150-u tuner, gigabyte ga h67a ud3h b3, i5-2500k , at first I was unable to scan for channels because of a audio/video encoder problem but thanks to naibaf7 I was able to scan and found my channels, however when I go into MP no channels are shown, I am sure it something incredibly simple but I missed it, I have read the quick setups but might have missed the crucial step

any suggestions?

Wow 8 days and no answer, thats what I hate about open source sometimes (or maybe since we are in the US we are not liked?), I am sure there is someone here much better equipped to help you but I will try...


I have hd homerun tuners and had to set them up for media portal. make sure the channels are mapped to the MP, (tv server config/tv channels and also in TV Mapping). See if that helps...

thanks, I believe they were, but I uninstalled, now trying to deal with software restrictions I messed up some how when MP was on my computer

this looks like something I would really like and use, but I couldn't get it going, may be the next version I will have some luck

Trust me it is a PAIN to get going at first but it is AWESOME once you do, I saw a post in this forum with basic steps on how to get it installed and I would be happy to help. What I did was try to follow the Wiki but some things dont apply or are a little different. I think it was written for an earlier version than the latest.

Use the wiki the concept is install the software, config TV server, config EPG guide, then run the media portal config and set it up. Also, try out the streamedmp theme it is way better than the default (it has a config tool of its own BasicHome Editor)

I don'n have channel group to.
You can see error in log file.
In my case don't work SQL Query on field GroupMap.SortOrder.

When I change field to GroupMap.sortOrder, it's don't help to me, but I lost error.log (((.
