[no Bug] No tv on laptop as client (1 Viewer)

I just tried to get tv on my laptop by using it as client with a wired connection but all I get is "connection to server lost" but the tvguide is working so server and client must be connected.

I have 2 other client wich is working fine...

Your connectivity issues seems to occur somewhere between 19:49:24 and 19:49:54 but you server logs start at 19:49:50. It is impossible to know what happened.

Maybe it is becuse that the server don't generates any logs.

I deleted all logs on server and afterwards I started MP on the client in debug mode and tried to start live tv. And afterwards collected all logs from server.

Probably yet another spin-off bug from mantis 2576. For testing you can try removing ipv6 from the network configuration on laptop to see if it fixes the issue. Otherwise try the tips here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...-sec-startup-getting-channels-database-82553/

First I tried to uncheck IPv6 on client and restarted.. Then I tried to start live tv and I got picture and sound but still the "connection to server lost" appered.
Then I tried to change hostname to ip adress on server with setuptv.exe --configure-db and restart service... But still the same. "connection to server lost"

But regarding to "Hanging for 20 sec in startup (getting channels from database?)" MP start within 5 sec. on my client

Just a stupid question, but you do not by any chance also have wireless turned on do you?

I have tried both with the same result... On my laptop there is a button where I can turn off all wireless connections so it was turned off thats for sure
I dont know if it is becuse of MP or windows7. But before when I used XP on server and laptop and with MP v1.0.2 it worked with both wired and wireless connection.
But unfortunately I was not able to wath the new danish channels on XP/v1.0.2

Just as last time with rc2 I tried on another laptop with rc3 (Asus eee 1000h) and the same thing happened. "connection to server lost"

And just as last time I see an actice stream to "bærbar" (my laptop) on server. And the "active" stream is still there even if i shut down the laptop.
