No TV on single seat, but on TVE client??? (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Version: RC4
Windows Version: Vista x64

Hi there, I've got a big Problem!

I' ve running a single seat setup and here the tv is still black in mp , but otherwise i can connect this pc via tve plugin and have tv on my laptop :?

So the tv server should work, but why a get no tv on my mp which is on the same pc as the tve???

I've attached the log, there's a line with

When posting logs it is necessary to post all of them

You can use MediaPortal logs collector for this
(it's in the MP start menu).

Okay, the problem is only with the RC4-release!!!

I've reinstalled RC3 and here the tv worked for a singleseat-setup does anybody know's an answer or is this a bug?

Does nobody has an idea what's the problem is???

RC3 works perfect for me, but not RC4 further an uninstall of RC4 and a simple re-install of RC3 get's the same result, no tv I have to make a new Vista installaion than RC3 worked again!

I can't test every new version and if it does not work I can not do a quick re-installation of Windows at every time and use the old mp when new mp releases did not work that's horrible!

same here. when attempting to switch on tv, or view a channel, mediaportal freezes up. i have read the logs myself and it looks like it's hanging when it's trying to connect to the rtsp on the tv server. trying to enter that url into vlc or media player yield a similar result, however vlc does nothing, and media player ponders about it for a bit, then says there was an error in the stream.

Did you enable the CAM in the TV tuner card?

In my case I also had to start the TV Service manually the first time before I was able to watch TV, this was only during the first time I started Mediaportal. (You can do that in Windows configuration manager and then Services, scroll down till you find TVService, right click and start the the service)

Calm down, we don't live in here 24/7

Did you install clean, which mean no old files left?
The reason is this url to ts file "\\MEDIASERVER\C\Windows\Temp\", if you're on RC which work upload files from that system so i can compare file url from both working & non working...
