I believe so because my PC is the TV server.
Sorry, I don't follow. What do you believe?

I use Norton 360 as my anti-virus protection and it caused no issues with WMC.
Okay. Please try and see what happens if Norton 360 is temporarily disabled. If you're not willing to temporarily disable, please ensure that you've configured Norton 360 to allow TVService.exe and SetupTv.exe full access to your HDHR.

I don't see you last reply here that was in your email reply so I'll try to answer that here. My PC is set up as the network controller as part of the Windows set up and since it is also the TV Server it should it should have access to the network. I disabled the Norton Smart Firewall and got the same results as when it was enabled. I get variable results on 9 of the 25 channels, meaning that sometimes they tune and sometimes they don't. These results correlate somewhat to the signal strength on the received physical channel where things get unpredictable when the strength goes below 60%. So I'm going to check out my antenna and distribution system tomorrow to eliminate any unnecessary power dividers, etc. I may have more loss in the branch feeding the HDHR tuners than the branch feeding the TV directly. I'll let you know the results tomorrow. Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for the update Bob. :)
Based on what you said about WMC working without problems, I had assumed that your signal strength/quality was not a factor. MediaPortal will be getting the same feed as WMC, and should be able to deliver the same results.

Update, success! I checked my antenna distribution system and eliminated about 6-8 dB of loss which improved the signal level on all physical channels. The results were about the same as before but I could tune all but 3 of the 25 channels if I kept trying. Then I setup HD Homerun again and discovered it was setup for WMC so I changed to MediaPortal and rescanned both tuners to make sure all channels were detected. Then I went through the server setup again to make sure the tuners were both being seen. Now, all channels tune quickly with great video and audio. Now I'm going to setup the program guide, schedule some recording, and try to figure out why my theatre setup can't read the files I recorded with WMC. Thanks for your help and patience, I appreciate it very much.
