Hi guys, hope you can help me. My system shown above is normally running with my two FloppyDTV cards in VMC and I use FloppyDTV Viewer to watch BBC HD. I have now setup the TT S2-3200 in my sons PC and have it fully functioning with TV Server and MP 1.0 RC2 (Vista home basic - no VMC to worry about). I have setup MP 1.0 client on my workshop PC (Vista 64bit) and successfully connect to TV server on my sons PC and get flawless TV (well mostly).
Now, before trying to setup everything on my main HTPC I decided to install MP client on here and checkout the TV quality connected to the TV server on my sons PC. No TV playback... it's almost there though, I don't get an error and the system thinks all is OK - I'm connected to the TV server and have an active TV stream to my PC, I just dont see or hear anything.
So here's the thing, with all the registry friggin to get VMC working with Sat cards do I have to disable it all in some specific way for MP to playback TV. I can playback TV that was recorded on the TV server and TV recorded by VMC, so this suggests that the problem is not a codec issue. This is similar to the problem ScottyDog has described in another post and I believe he also had the Sat frig for VMC prior to installing MP.
Sorry I don't have logs just now, Im at work but I thought I'd throw it out there just in case this is a known problem. I will create fresh logs tonight and post them.
Cheers,
Rory
