PD thanks for your suggestions... I feel that I have wasted an entire day as I have managed to solve nothing! I have done a complete clean re-install of XP. I have checked the cards are correctly in their slots. Both windows and MP install are happy with the cards, I have the correct up-to-date drivers installed. I have disabled and changed priorities on all 4 cards, but no change. I did increase the delay detect to 20 seconds, which made tvserver create a 0kb .ts and a 1kb .xml, but sadly no recordings. I might be wrong, but don't feel it is the cards as I get successful recordings EVERY time, they simply ALL fail when the pvr resumes from standby. As mentioned before i use the utility standby.cmd in tvserver to close tvservice on standby and resume on wakeup. From RC2 it worked perfectly if MP was closed. One other note is that the recordings can be seen from TVserver being allocated to a card (manual control), but no recordings generated! I've attached the latest logs if they show anything different. I note that for each recording it appears in the log and tv log reports a 100% locked signal, so I am completely stumped over this whole thing. Cheers for people's advice so far :)
