I used MP install to install MySQL, but didn't think to uninstall it myself after the "complete" uninstall. I naively assumed that the MP uninstall would take care of that. I have now uninstalled MySQL and am trying to install MP with SQL Express 2008 instead, since I have read that it performs better and is more reliable. Unfortunately, I am having no better results.
