No tv server on 2008 r2 (1 Viewer)

before anyone says it, i have followed the provided guides to the t, i have googled, still no ones seems to be able to answer.

i have installed all the required files, enabled themes and aero.

firstly i installed media portal, tv server was there.

installed my tv card and drivers but media portal wouldnt pick it up, so in turn i removed media portal and reinstalled.

go sql password error, so once again i removed media portal, removed my sql along with data files.

reinstalled media portal, no errors, check sql database for errors, all ok, but still no tv server shown.

so what now???

so you had tv server and now you can't install it anymore or you still don't see your tv-cards. If it's the second then make shure that you have properly installed the BDA subsystem with the right bda-drivers, because bda support is missing in 2k8r2.
When i installed my Server it was a pain in the ass because bda and my card drivers made trouble and i wasn't shure which one made the troubles ... but finally it worked...
