Hello everyone.
I'm a LinuxMCE user now trying MediaPortal. I have an HDHomeRun tuner, a server and one client. I installed the code on the server and, after a few tweaks, can now watch TV there. However, I cannot watch TV on the client. I turn the TV on in the client option and can see the tuner light up and the network switch lights up as it does when video is streaming. As far as the tuner, network switch and the client's network load graph go, video and audio is streaming down. But, nothing shows on the client.
I've done the usual install, remove, reinstall, etc but nothing seems to work. Both server and client are running fresh WinXP SP2 installs and, other than the HDHomeRun drivers, there's nothing more installed on the boxes. All of the pre-reqs are covered as well. The channel guide data is sent to the client ok. I can watch TV if I use VLC on the client along with the HDHomeRun drivers by connecting directly to the tuners so network connectivity, etc is set. There's no firewall or filters between the server and client.
Any hints/tips? Thanks.
JR
