I have conducted a clean installation of 2.3.0 stable release in a restored backup image which hadn't yet had MP installed and initialized it with the files level20peon recommends in his post from my old RC2 installation. If I try to activate TV within the TV plugin menu, the dot goes red for a fraction of a second, before turning blue again. Rescanning the TV channels and updating the Hauppauge HVR-1300MCE drivers brought no improvement. Even though the scan process displayed video for each TV station found, I still have no TV. The symptoms remain as described above: the dot goes red for a fraction of a second and then turns blue again; no video is displayed. Attached are my logfiles. Error.log reveals another problem I have: webradio doesn't seem to play. However, I may need to try more stations before asking for help on this.
