To my great surprise, the result was still the same....I thought hmm... hardware fault? So I tried playing stuff through Media Player and Windvd in hardware-accelerated mode and that was fine! So hardware fault is pretty much ruled out too.So now I'm completely stumped and suspect that the answer is obvoius but I need someone to cast a fresh mind on this.
