No Video when playing recorded TV (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

i joined you today.
Everything is working fine with that awesome software except when trieing to watch a recorded tv show.

It starts the playing, i can hear the audio but the screen stays black.

First at all i was thinking about a codec problem. I tried to solve this with ffdshow tryout but it does not work also.

Can anyone help me?

UPDATE: I installed LAV splitter/codec.
I noticed that i can play SD records. Just when starting HD records i have that black screen. But HD live TV is working. So i can also watch the record files outside MP with VLC or even WMP. So the codecs are there. It seems that MP is not using them.

I´m out of ideas now............

I´m running Mediaportal v. 1.2.3. on a Win7 32bit OS.

Please find the logfiles in the attachment. What i have done:
-Starting Media Portal
-Going to TV -> Records
-Start playing record
-While playing without video-> pressing info
- Stop and exit MP

My hardware is as follow:
TV Server
Dell Poweredge 860 Xeon @ 2,1 GHZ 8 GB Ram
Windows Home Server 2011 (64bit))

MP client
AMD A6-3500 APU @2,1 GHZ with Raedon HD 6530D
4GB Ram
Windows 7 Home Premium (32bit)

Are the HD channels encrypted ? - the TsReader.log has a lot of 'Pes 0-0-1 fail' messages in it, which can happen when something is encrypted.

Also need the TV Server logs please....

Yes, some of the channels are encrypted.

I upload the last tswriter log. I hope this one is what you need!

I tried this TsReader_noStopMod59c. It slove the problem with the playback but brings a lot of fragments and stuttering into live tv.
So it is not useable.

As i spend the whole night with testing out the mediaportal i found out some interesting things with this strange behavior:

- Playing recorded FTA SD -> working
- Playing recorded FTA HD -> working
- Playing recorded encrypted SD -> working
- Playing recorded encrypted HD -> NOT working

I did not notice this before because 99% of my recordings are encrypted HD.

So it seems that the problem is only with that kind of recordings. Will this help to slove the problem?

What sort of network are you using (wired or wifi) ?

Done.

Trying to play that fail record it tells me "***.ts" not found.
As it is programmed as a series recording the .ts file is stored in the "recording patch/Channel/Movie/*.ts"

I moved the .ts to "recording path" and after this i was able to playback it!
Looks to me that we are close to an solution? Seems just to be the wrong folder?

I´m on a wired 1GBit Line with a bandwith of >100MByte/s. So i think this should not be the problem.

UPDATE: Normal records are working fine now. Lets see what the new series recording brings.

UPDATE2: Series recordings are not found in there subfolders. Is there a way to place them in the record root folder?
