no video with certain movies (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I am not new to this but i am not a professional either. This is my problem:

Everything works except for some movies. with these movies I only get sound, no video. These avi files do work in media player classic and vlc. I installed k-lite codec pack. Mediaportal is running on a laptop with a broken screen. So I have set my TV as primary display and cant see anything on the laptop screen.

I hope someone out here can help me. Searched the entire internet.

Any subtitles enabled, if using vobsub, disable the autoload, especially in halle media splitter, thats one of the common ones.

Hey,
thanks for the fast reply. I have now uninstalled the codecpack so I got rid of DirectVobSub and haaile splitter. After uninstalling the pack I installed ffdshow seperately. The same movies still don't work. I get audio and random flashing stuff on my screen .

any idea?
