    Hi MePo's,

in the past it's been impossible to change to standby or hibernate when a recording is still active. Unfortunately in this version 1.2.1 it is possible. Is this a bug ??? This should be prevented.

Furthermore the PC is not waking up from hibernate for recording TV. My BIOS settings are:

    Suspend mode: Auto
    ACPI 2.0 support: Enabled
    ACPI Support: Enabled
    APM Configuration:
Restore on Power Loss: power Off
Restore on From S5 By PME: Enabled
Restore on From S5 By Ring Enabled
Restore on From S5 By RTC Alarm: Disabled

    I'm running win7 professional 64 bit.

I'm not sure what is critical to set in windows energy options to make wake up from hibernate happen.
I set hybrid hibernate to YES.
I set hibernate to never. But it does when to shut down in MePo.

Is there anyone out there who knows what to do or not to do to get the wakeup for scheduled recording work ???

    Thanks for your support.
    Best regards,
    Ralph

Same to you Ralph, have a good Christmas and New Year.

Can you fix the link, as does not take you anywhere, curious to see what fixed it for you.

Sorry link doesn't work (is in German anyway). This is what I've found:

It is impossible to wake up the system while it is in S5 using the remote. No bug-normal reaction.

Therfore I installed power scheduler ++ and choose S4 for powersaving. From this state I can wake it up again using the MCE remote. Since then scheduled recording TV is running great. What a treat this is !

Regarding shutting down the PC using the remote whilst recording is active I need to check later. Since the PC is running fine my son occupied it right away. I need to find a way to regain access...

In the moment I'm busy finding a 47" TV which would go with MediaPortal (I opened another thread for this) but either my question is obsolete (stupid) since they are all hassle-free today ??? Any hint ? The threads concerning this are pretty old. I'm afraid to have one of those giant screens at home and find out about it the hard way.

    Cheers
    Ralph

Would suggest a change to the 'Restore on Power Loss' setting in your BIOS

I have mine set to turn the PC on if the power is interupted - this way the computer can restart and will hibernate again with any scheduled wake-up times re-set.
