    Hello folks!
I have plenty of codecs I use no longer, most of them aren't even no longer installed. But they still show up in the MP configuration panels codec section as available to select. Does anyone know how to make a cleanup to get rid of those codecs that shouldn't show?

    Hello ratata
You can use this tool to list and unregister codecs.
    RegDllView - Register dll/ocx/exe utility

    Tips for using RegDllView
If you want to find obsolete registrations on your system, simply click the 'Missing File' in order to sort the list by 'Missing File' status.

    Thank you mrj.
An excellent little tool that made a tedious task easier in many other situations as well.
