The screenshots look great, unfortunately it screwed up my system:-(

After installation, MP loaded up, but I could still see the desktop. Except that I couldn't do anything on it. It seemed like MP had loaded a transparent layer and then crashed.

Maybe I mucked up the installation, but though I should mention it (using latest version of MP.)

MacMini, open the MP's configurator and verify this points:

-In General section, check 'Start with basic home screen'
-In Skin section select Nonafo skin
-Verify that in the plugins section MyAditionalScreen, MyAditionalScreen2 and MyWheaterOverlay are enabled

Then start MP again, if you want to go back to other skin, disable MyWeatherOverlay in plugin section, because if it's enabled, you could get the 'invisible interface' problem...

MyWheaterOverlay must not be enabled at all to use nonafo - its optional.

mofux: The BasicHome-editor is working good so far, but it's not very user friendly. And I think I know why you have to save twice: If you want to save the first time there's no name for the file given that means you have to choose one. On the second attempt the name is given. Maybe you could set an default??

Tried again, but no go:-(

I place the Nonafo Skin V2/Media Portal/Skin/Nonafo folder into the Programs/Team Media Portal Skins Folder;

I place the files found in Nonafo Skin V2/Media Portal/Plugins/Windows into the Programs/.../Windows folder

I place the NonafoSetup.exe loose into the Programs/Team Media Portal.

I click the suggested boxes (disabled the Weather Overlay plug) and run the NonafoSetup.exe

Then I get the transparent crash:-(

Maybe it is because I am running at 1076x600 (16x9) and it doesn't scale. Is this skin coming out for 16x9?

Take a look at your mediaportal.log file may be that something was wrong...

And the other is : How could I make the selected items black instead of the tranparent overlay? I only want it darker.

Nonafo mods

Hi just wanted to say I’ve been playing around with the Nonafo skin and made a couple of really basic mods. I posted some screen shots and links in this thread.

Mofux: thanks for all you hard work in creating this skin, it made modding really easy

Also just wondering if for the Cd Case you’ve considered putting a semi transparent cd case over the top of the album art. Means you can get a shinny case look. Check out the screen shots of my mods if you are wondering what I mean.
