as i said - please don't care about the top bar - it's real crap i know and will be redesigned soon.

i also need to make the default home screen so that you can use my programs with it - these things will follow, just be patient!

btw hakuna - what problems did you have with the weatheroverlay thingy?

When I click on the My Tv icon, nothing happens except the highlight moves to My Music. I have tried a cvs build from 3rd April (as per the readme) and the latest cvs (in case it was a typo in the readme). Any ideas?

a) yes, that's a typo, sorry for that - you should use the latest svn build

b) -> i guess you haven't copied / enabled the myAdditionalScreen plugins, that's needed because when you click on the tv button it first jumps to the additional screen (that's why it doesn't show)

so just try it again with copying them to the right place / enabling them in configuration!

Many thanks. Using the latest svn and realising that the plugins needed to be in colour (not faded) to be enabled, it's all working.

I must congratulate you on a fine looking theme. There are a few quirks which I will add to my list and post when I have had time to play with it some more.

It made MP crash with some .net framework error.

When a SVCD disc is mounted, a question window opens if you want to play it, it is difficult to know when focus is on Yes and when on No.
Also I think I tried both selections but none started to play the SVCD, don't know if it's skin or MP related.

I pressed ESC when watching this SVCD and then the movie rolled for some seconds and then the whole PC froze! Power off necessary to restart.

I am at work now so I don't have access to any logs.

Just one tip I have not seen in the previous two pages: When changing TV channels by number (not ch up/down) a small overlay shows up with the choosen channelnumber. This overlay is still in some blue style.
(Obviously this is not very important, just to make sure you know in case you completely forgot this "screen")

Just one question: I am running on an old CRT-TV and the overlay is buggin me with this skin. Just a little bit, but left and right i don't see everything unfortunately (for example time and month, or the weather picture).
Any chance to get all the design a bit less on the left and the right side?

hmmm, i have never tried that - but it sounds more like an mp related problem (try to record in fullscreen tv and stop the recording manually - the yes / no dialog should pop up - if it's working correctly there it should be an mp problem) - i will have a look on that

hmmm, if it shows the blue background (from projectx skin) i haven't had my fingers on it currently - how do i reach this "screen"/dialog? maybe i never got in touch with it before - please point me there

yup, smirnuff is right! many things are adapted from Kevin Helms HDeeTV skin and as i said before i wanted to create a "remake" of that - well, but after some time it drifted into another direction but some things are quite close to HDeeTV (f.e. now playing screen). So again - many thanks to Kevin Helm who came up with many of those great ideas!!!

nope - at least i won't do that because it would destroy the layout.
but hey - why not setting up your viewing rectangle in windows so that you don't have that overscan? go - have a look!!!
