Noob question IRSS (1 Viewer)

Hi. I'm currently testing before building an HTPC. I have purchased a WMC remote with receiver and blaster. It's great, I plug it in and it works with no set up - happy days.

I also want to be able to access the internet at the touch of a button - no problem. I've downloaded IRSS and it now works with Kylo browser.

I can control my laptop (which i'm testing on) but I can't seem to find a way to get it to control my TV. I've read the wiki and I'm struggling to understand it to be honest. All I want to do is turn standby on/off, volume up/down and skip through inputs.

It might be something very simple but as I don't understand all the terminology just yet I'm probably missing it.

You can get MCE remote to do VOL +/- and POWER - but not toggle input - for you'r TV without IRSS:

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately my remote isn't the one associated with the manual. It is a Lenovo rc 6 remote. Low and behold I can't find the manual online. Can anyone advise me how to program the remote via IRSS?......would Event Ghost be easier?
