Hello All, Here is my set up: Vista Home Premium MediaPortal 1.0 TVServer 1.0 Pentium 920D (dual core) PQI 2gb DDR2 Memory Asus P5WD2-Premium Motherboard Western Digital PATA 120gb (OS/software) Hitachi SATA 1tb (movies, storage) Ati Radeon x1900xt via RGB out to TV Hauppauge 1800 I have mediaportal running in conjunction with my set top box and the schedules direct plug in, which took me over a week of extreme frustration to get figured out! The only issue I have left is being able to view the TV guide, select a channel, and have my STB change to that channel. I am EXTREMELY confused on that last part, getting Mediaportal to change the channel on my set top box. I use the Gyration 2.4GHz RF remote, which also does IR. I found the TV3 External Channel Changer plug in, but I dont know if that would work for me? It says if you are looking for documentation, to come to this forum, which is what I am doing. I am beyond lost here. What do I need to do, read, download, etc to get this last part of functionality working??? :S Did I buy the wrong remote? I really like this remote but if there isnt a true "blaster", just the remote has capability to do IR, then its kinda worthless for this setup isnt it?
