Hi,
Since the TV Server isn't working properly with ATSC cards yet (just displays a blank screen, with audio when trying to view ATSC channels), I decided to try the stand-alone MediaPortal instead.
I'm using the Hauppauge HVR-1600, with the 3.4B driver CD.
I completely removed TV Server, client plugin, and mediaportal client, rebooted and then installed mediaportal followed by the latest SVN.
I initially set up the analog side of the card, and although it scanned for, and added all the channels, when I tried to view the channel it said "no signal". To fix this I used a CaptureCardDefinitions.xml file that someone posted in another thread. Analog now works fine.
The problem now, is that when I scan for ATSC channels using the other part of the card, it finds nothing at all.
The TV Server used to find the channels fine, I just couldn't watch them.. but mediaportal client doesn't even find them in the first place.
Other programs are able to find and view ATSC channels too.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?
Thanks,
Dan
