Hey guys! I have installed MediaPortal on my laptop and it works fine but when I installed it on my Compaq EVO USD which is connected to my LCD it went all funny. When MediaPortal loads it looks terrible and grainy, almost as if MediaPortal has changed my display settings. I chaned the settings to 800x640 and it looks a bit better but not much. Also whenever I install another skin it seems to freeze MediaPortal and wont view anything. I am using BlueTwo (not widescreen which would make more sense with my LCD). I try to open videos in .avi (yes I have DIVX installed) and I get sound but no video also I have loaded some streaming TV shows and placed them in the radio section, they work fine on the laptop (Dell Inspiron 1501) but on the Compaq the video shows for a fraction of a second and then all I get is sound.

Any idea's?

Thanks
Shawn

My guess is that your HW is not good enough. (A DX9 gfx is highly recommended).

Try posting system specs and logs
