Which I think is a Dibcom 7700 tuner:</p><p><a href="http://www.dibcom.info/Website/site/eng_accueil_applicationsproducts_products_chipset.htm" target="_blank">Dibcom -- Chipsets</a></p><p>(the text that match best while searching google).</p><p></p><p>It says I have a "DIB7700 DTV tuner" driver number: 2.3.3.4 on the Device list in Control Panel.</p><p></p><p>Though at Asus download page it only contains cards like:</p><p>Liteon_TVT-1060 TV Tuner driver: V3.0.3.6_V1.1</p><p>*Yuan_MC-770A TV Tuner driver: V2.3.3.4_V1.4.9354*</p><p>Yuan_MC872 TV Tuner driver: V2.3.3.4</p><p>Yuan_MC570QA TV Tuner driver: V2.3.3.17_V1.5.0.1</p><p></p><p>I use the driver marked with *. </p><p></p><p>When searching channels inside Media Portal Configuration/TV Server I don't receive any channels or any signal notice that it has any contact. I have tried using the small desktop antenna that came with my Asus. A passive 10cm high antenna.</p><p></p><p>Questions:</p><p>1: Is the antenna too small? Needs to be used outside? I live in Sweden about 40km/24miles from a Station. (don't know exactly where)...</p><p></p><p>2: I have cable inside my apartment and the signal coming from the wall is DVB-T and analog cable mux. I think it maybe use 5V signal amplification (need to check that), and I'm planning to create a cable so I can insert the DVB-T signal to my G70S. Could that be working? TV-antenna cable to MCX-male(the antenna use this connector).</p><p></p><p>3: Now why is the driver named Yuan when I have a Dibcom card?</p><p></p><p>The most important question is nr2...
