Nothing found?! (1 Viewer)

Hi guys

My MP Tv series, finds nothing when i search! The only thing it found was ep 9 of american dad, which it thought was a show called 09 - frannie.

I've tried every single parsing/regex line i could find on the good old web. Including every single one in this forum. I simply can't get it to find anything at all.

My format is as follows

D:\Tv Shows\Series Name\Season Number 01-09\01-25 - episode name

Anybody know how to get this thing working?!

As for now, i've been using the Movies section and added a link to the folder. I'm a newbie at this, so if you need any logging files or whatever to help, please explain how to first.

Thats the naming convention i use with no problems, if the series name is not in the file, that may be your issue, as its the files that are parsed, not the folder to my knowledge.

I'll try with a few test episodes later on. If it works, I'll have a good night or 2's work cut out for me renaming my entire library.

I'll post on progress, but wont be able to test untill later this evening

Succes! Or somewhat i should say. Most of my series are imported now. Not all in right order, and it's missed some completely. However, i think that it's due to the thetvdb.com order of things, and mine are out of sync. So no help needed there. Thanks for the heads up.

I'll have a good night or 2's work cut out for me renaming my entire library.

I just work on the principal once it's done, never again , so back them up to external HDD or whatever your media is

I'm having exactly the same problem, all my import finds is american dad episode 09 - frannie.

My format is tv shows\<series name>\Season <#>\<#> - <title>.avi

(# being season and episode numbers respectively)

I have a single parse expression:

\<series>\Season <season>\<episode> - <title>.<ext>

Parsing however fails on every single file, what's going on? it's a pretty straight forward format.
