I also noticed these lines this weekend in the logging. Which version (SVN) of MP are you using?

When you check the logging you see that it 'happens' every 10 seconds (the interval of the Powerscheduler: GetNextEvent).

The powerscheduler check if there are any 'outstanding' recordings which should be started (e.g. when the system is resumed from stand-by).

When I check the source-code you see:

if (TVDatabase.GetRecordings(ref recordings))
{
foreach (TVRecording recording in recordings)
{
DateTime tmpNextStarttime = new DateTime(0);

//if recording has been canceled, then skip it
if (recording.Canceled > 0)
{
Log.Info(" PowerScheduler: skipping canceled recording - {0}", recording.Title);
continue;
}

So apparently you TVVideodatabase contains canceled recordings. This means you can easily workaround this problem by cleaning up your planned recordings. This should solve the issue.

In the meantime I will check if the code can be optimised to handle this situation 'nicely'.

There's a thread somewhere (sorry - got to go to work :( - search for "skipping canceled recordings") that says this should be fixed in 0.3, I think...

Note that it includes manual recordings as well as really scheduled ones...
