NVidia codec not more working for tv with CVS from 1.3. (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

with the CVS from 1.3. I can not use the NVidia video codec for TV (which I need to get a good quality).

When I start live TV:
- the picture stays black
- a sound snippet can be heard every 20 seconds
- the machine is fully busy, I hardly can exit MP

anbody the same experience?

I am also using the Nvidia codecs have don't have a problem with them.. .I am on 2-28-06 cvs.

well, as nobody else seems to have that, I have to dig deeper in my own stuff.

(No problem, as I am world champion in reinstalling MP :wink: )

My bad, When you said 1.3 I thought you meant version 0.1.3. I will load CVS 3-1-06 and test it out.

no luck

I did do a new RC0.2 install, applied CVS 1. march to it and still the Nvidia codec does not work ...

I tested older CVSses: it works with all before that new one.

Anybody any idea??

Nvidia codec works very well here (latest + latest), about that date I had to remove & re add my TV card.
You could post your MP log to, so we can see what’s happening.

nVidia Video Codec works fine for me with CVS 03-01-2006 and 03-02-2006. Haven't tested the nVidia Audio Codec since I don't have a compatible soundcard.

Hi mine nvidia decoder have not benn working form november. Same symptoms as yours.

remember that the Nvidia codecs are only a six month trial until you par for them. Could this be the prrblem?

Mine seem to have been working for ages but I guess I can maybe look forward to this sometime soon as well?
