OK. The old mediaportal works fine. The new server installs fine, connects to my SQL database server and recognizes the Tuner card, however, when I click to scan for channels the status bar goes through to completion (within 2 minutes) but no channels appear.

What suggestions / comments do you have?

Is anybody working towards fixing this issue? What can I do to help. I know a bit about hardware but nothing about software/programing.
