    Hi there,

I live in New Zealand and have recently upgraded my Sky STB and am trying to get IRSS STB blasting to work again. The STB is branded Sky NZ but when I check in the System menu it tell me that its a KAON Model 4D316C. I can't find this brand or model in the STB drop down list. Does anyone know if there is an equivalent model in the list or do I just need to learn the commands from scratch?

    Thanks
    Aaron

I've just got the new Sky box myself (in Auckland) and am trying to work out IRSS blasting again myself. How did you get on @AScott ?? I've been running on analog for a looooong time and can't really remember how I set it all up in the first place. I've got a new Hauppauge Colossus card and trying to get it going so I can record in HD as well. I remember I had to learn the IR commands from the old sky remote, but I've been trying to do this with the new one and am struggling to get the receiver to pick up the signals - keep getting a 'Learn timed out' error. Would appreciate any help?!
