Do I need IR suite and TV3 blaster plugin??
I have a client pc in bedroom will i need to do anything to it also?

I'd like to second that, I am totaly lost, my eyes are bleeding from all the reading I have done and I am still no closer to getting things to work.
I am running xp sp3 and a mce remote and am trying to blast my Austar box which is a Atlas stb (2 of the same systems actually) and I am soooo frustrated with the whole bloody thing, I had a twinhan sat card and cam and was using a legit subscription card until austar changed their stream to fix the pirate card problems now my sat card is useless and I stuck with a stb>svideo>manual channel setup
any help would be appreciated.

Hm... I'm currently using STB w/blasters myself. I'll see if I find some time to create a simple guide - based on MP 1.0.2 (and latest IR Server Suite @ XPSP3). Can't promise any ETA, though, so if someone else wants to do it - be my guest .

I'd dying for a solution for installed IRSS onto MP 1.0.2, It worked fine under 1.0.0 (with IRSS 1.0.4.1) but ever since upgrading to 1.0.2, no matter which version of IRSS I try and which combination of patches and registry edits I try, blasting within MP does not work. Testing works fine. So, any information on how to get IRSS working in MP 1.0.2 would be appreciated.

NOTE - I just fixed it myself. Here's what I did:
1. Installed MP 1.0.2 (upgrade from 1.0.0 with a working version of IRSS 1.0.4.1)
2. Stopped TVService
3. Installed IRSS 1.4.2 2627 after downloading latest verion from the first post on the IRSS forum discussion
4. Installed the registry update patch IR-Server Service Fix.rar from Geov
5. Rebooted.

My system is Windows XP SP3.

REBOOT SOLVES MANY ISSUES!
... like the one you describe.
