OK, got it running so far. But there are some problems in Mediaportal:
When i go to my emulators the standard view is ALWAYS "small icons", and there is nothing displayed. I have to switch to big icons, or any other view, and the emulator menu is there. Very strange: When i have switched to another view than "small icons" i can not switch back to this view.
It would be very helpful if the plugin only saves the last used view for every folder.

Second thing is, i cant start my N64 emulator. I´m using Project64 and every time i start a game, i get the attached screen. That reads as follows: error on trying to open file....

In addition i can not go back to the main emulator menu when a emulator has been choosen.
Any suggestions?

Try it without using quotes for project64.

Thanks a lot. That was it. I have also solved the quitting of the Emulators.
For Project64 I use a key on my remote that is mapped to alt+f4, an for snes i use the "programm ending" function in the options of the emulator mapped to a free key on my gamepad.

Now there are only my other Problems with the views of myEmulators left...

This is how it should work. Are you using the latest version of MP and the plugin?

Hey Chreekar, first thanks for Your excellent support. :D
Yes i´m using latest svn´s of mediaportal AND latest svn´s of your plugin. The Views Did not work on my machine. If You need more detailed Infos (e.g. logfiles or such things) You can P/M me every time.
    ;-)
One thing i realized today is that the views IN the specific emulators are correct and saved. But the view of the main menu where i can choose between the different emulators is not saved.
Hope this helps finding the problem.

    Hi There

I love the simplicity of this plugin, I just have one suggestion - please forgive me if this has been answered earlier, I didn't have the time to go through 22 pages :)

Instead of totally closing media portal is it not possible to close to the system tray in the same way that the top bar does, this way it is easy to restore with the green button on the remote.

I am currently struggeling with the myemulators plugin.

I would like to use epsxe to run psx iso images.

the full command line will be:

    epsxe.exe -loadiso c:\psx\games\crash_bandicoot.iso -nogui

    My question is:

how do i set up my emulators to include the -loadiso before the filename and -nogui after the filename ?

i guess if set PAth to emultaor to:

    C:\psx\epsxe.exe -loadiso

that part will be solved , but how do i add the -nogui after the filename?

    Thanks for your help

You definitely don't need to close MP down. In my setup, my emulators simply load in front of MP. Make sure you don't have "MP always on top" selected in the MP setup.

    Hope that helps! :D
