You can't, not yet at least. Only arguments after the path of the executable but before the path to the game are supported.

This is my first foray into Mediaportal, today, and I noticed your plugin, it works absolutely brilliantly (tested with Zsnes).
But I have 2 questions:

1. How can I get game-thumbs working?
The thumb for the console in %mediaportal%\Thumbs\Myemulators\emulators is working fine, but the game-thumbs in %mediaportal%\Thumbs\Myemulators\games don't work. And they are the same name as the ROMS (substituted .smc with .png, basically), but they don't show up?

2. How can I have 'Emulators' in the main menu instead of the plugin-menu? Is there some XML I need to alter, or what?

But kudos on your very nice plugin, keep up the good work!

Let me see if I can help:

1. You know how you can rename your Rom's to have a more user-friendly name within the Mediaportal setup? The picture name has to be the same as this name , not the Rom itself.

2. In MP Setup, under Plugins you can right click on My Emulators an switch it from "Plugins" to "Home."

But I still don't have the icons working. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
I made a screenshot of the name in the Database:

And here you see Mediaportal, the thumb on the left (is it in the correct location?) en the Rom on the right:

It should show an icon like this, right?

(New in 1.6): You need to create a folder in ..\Thumbs\MyEmulators\games named as the emulator, and then place the image in that one.

I feel so stupid for not getting this to work

I've made these folders:

But none of them work. Maybe png's aren't supported?
Super Nintendo is the emulator's name, and the thumb for the emulator works fine.

This is the one that should work. PNG:s are supported, the only thing I can see is that it should be myEmulators instead of Myemulators. Butr then again your console images are working, so that shouldn't be any problem. Is the name of the last folder the same as the console name shown in MP?

Hmmz.. it's working now, but I haven't got the faintest idea why?

I found my mistake, I'd put a space after 'kart'
